Description:

Maintains production supply by retrieving materials and supplies and operating a Reach Truck.

Ability to work mandatory overtime and 10-hour days.

Duties:

1. Plans supply and material requirements by studying the production schedule; schedules deliveries to the production area.
2. Retrieves supplies and materials by studying specifications; locating and verifying supplies and materials; securing pallets on the truck; moving pallets to the production location.
3. Maintains inventory in the production area by anticipating and tracking usage.
4. Monitors inventory by reporting discrepancies.
5. Clears the production area by securing and moving finished pallets and empty pallets.
6. Documents actions by logging the movement of supplies, materials, and finished goods.
7. Maintains a safe work environment by watching out for foot traffic, following standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations.
8. Keeps the reach truck operational by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and calling for repairs.
9. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
10. Contributes to warehousing and organizational goals by completing related tasks as needed.
