Forklift Operator
Department: Manufacturing/Warehouse
Location: Louisville, KY
Reports to: WHS/Supervisor / Plant manager
Drives gasoline or electric-powered industrial truck equipped with lifting devices such as forklift, clamps, elevating platform to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials.

Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, and managers.
Under immediate supervision of the Whse/Traffic Supervisor
High School Diploma or GED. Must have good reading, writing, and math skills and be able to pass in-house forklift training course.

Six months related experience and/or training preferred.
None.
Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, or crouch. Bi-manual dexterity required. Occasionally required to sit. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions, cold and heat. Noise level is usually moderate. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
