Richmond Behavioral Health Authority is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse (RN) to join our REACH Team in Richmond, VA. The successful candidate will administer daily medications, conduct medical assessments, draw blood, and coordinate nursing services under supervision.
Responsibilities include admitting clients, maintaining MARs, attending treatment teams, scheduling labs and injections, and providing emergency response when needed.
The Richmond Behavioral Health Authority is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse (RN) to join our REACH Team. The successful candidates will perform difficult skilled human support and administrative work administering daily medications, providing daily medical assessments, ordering medications, managing medication administration records, transcribing doctor’s orders, drawing blood, documenting activities, attending clinical staffing and training meetings, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Developmental Services Residential Manager with additional medical oversight provided by the REACH Nurse Supervisor.
Required Education:
Must possess a current RN license from the Virginia Board of Nursing. Must have at least an Associate’s degree with coursework in nursing, and a least 1 year experience working directly with individuals with Intellectual/developmental disabilities. Psychiatric inpatient, residential, or crisis stabilization experience preferred.
Valid Virginia Drivers License Required.
