Job summary

Performance Foodservice in Morristown, TN is seeking a Warehouse Forklift Operator to move freight, stock inventory, and support the distribution process with a focus on safety and efficiency.

You will operate forklift and pallet jack, check items for damage, and ensure proper storage in a multi-temperature environment. Overtime may be required; the role starts with day-one benefits and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift; lift up to 60–90 pounds.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Must be able to work scheduled overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Locate proper slot on storage racks and position pallets with forklift.
• Transport incoming freight to storage and freezer areas.
• Replenish pick slots with outgoing stock.
• Rotate date-sensitive stock and remove outdated inventory.
• Disperse over-stocked items to available slots.
• Inspect pallets for damage and perform safety checks on equipment.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures per company guidelines.
• Complete end-of-shift paperwork and secure all equipment.
