Job summary

Americold is looking for a Forklift Operator to ensure safe receipt, storage, and shipment of food products. You will operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts, high-reach forklifts, stand-up straddle trucks, walk-behinds, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and related equipment while maintaining accuracy and safety.

The role requires adherence to OSHA standards, ability to meet production goals, and willingness to perform inventory, cleaning, and battery changes as necessary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three (3) months of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight using proper equipment.
• Stack and store merchandise and prepare orders for shipment.
• Operate forklifts and RF scanners following safety policies.
• Meet production standards while keeping a clean, organized environment.
• Assist with inventory, cleaning, and battery changes as needed.
