Job summary

REACH Air Medical Services in Salinas, CA is seeking a Helicopter Pilot (SPIFR) to transport patients with a team of medical experts, ensuring aircraft readiness for flight dispatch and strict adherence to FAR and REACH protocols.

You will maintain regulatory documentation, coordinate with dispatch and crews, and stay current on rotorcraft certifications. This full-time role offers competitive salary, sign-on and retention bonuses, and a 7/7 schedule.

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Rotorcraft instrument rating required.
• Current FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate.
• Minimum 2,000 total flight hours; 1,500 helicopter hours; 1,000 helicopter PIC hours; 500 turbine helicopter hours.
• 100 cumulative hours of instrument flight time; 100 night hours unaided or 50 unaided with 100 aided.

Responsibilities

• Work with a medical team to transport patients safely.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatch per manuals and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain up-to-date REACH regulatory documentation and records.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change information to the next pilot following protocol.
