Job summary

REACH Helicopter is seeking a Lead SPIFR pilot in Hillsboro, OR to provide critical medical air transport. You will work with medical teams to ensure safe patient transfers and maintain compliance with FAR and REACH procedures.

The ideal candidate holds a rotorcraft FAA Commercial certificate, instrument rating, and a current medical certificate, with thousands of flight hours and significant PIC experience in helicopters, including turbine types.

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Helicopter instrument rating.
• Current FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate.
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours.
• 1,500 Helicopter Hours.
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours.
• 500 Turbine Helicopter Hours.
• 100 Night Hours Unaided or 50 Unaided with 100 Aided.
• 75 Helicopter Instrument Hours with 50 in aircraft.
• 230 pound weight limit with flight gear.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients with a medical team to and from locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches per manuals and FAR/REACH requirements.
• Maintain regulatory documentation and records.
• Communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift-change information to the next pilot and team per recording protocol.
