Job summary

REACH is hiring a HAA Pilot for full-time work in Steamboat, Colorado. The role involves coordinating with medical teams to transport patients and ensuring aircraft readiness and compliance with FAR and REACH standards.

You will maintain essential records, collaborate with dispatch and crews, and stay current with certifications and training. Eligible candidates bring a rotorcraft FAA commercial certificate, instrument rating, and a Class I/II medical certificate, plus thousands of flight hours.

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Helicopter instrument rating.
• Current FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate.
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours.
• 2,000 Helicopter Hours.
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours.
• 1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours.
• 200 helicopter hours night hours aided or unaided.
• 230 pound weight limit with flight gear.
• AS350/H125 Aircraft Experience (preferred).
• High School Diploma/Equivalent or Higher (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in the appropriate manuals, including FAR/REACH requirements and aircraft cleanliness duties.
• Maintain accurate REACH regulatory documentation and record keeping.
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording REACH change board details.
• Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training.
