Job summary
Marathon Health is seeking a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to join the integrated health center team. You will provide Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) to individuals and groups, focusing on weight management, diabetes care, cardiovascular health and prevention of chronic conditions through nutrition.
You will lead workshops and nutrition education events on-site, coordinate with care teams, and document outcomes in the EMR.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics and 2+ years as a clinical registered dietitian, licensed where services are provided.
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with CDR registration and state licensure.
- Experience delivering medically necessary nutrition care and education to diverse patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) to individuals and groups to improve health and prevent disease.
- Lead workshops, cooking demos, and nutrition education sessions for participants.
- Assess readiness to change, set goals, and support behavior change with motivational interviewing.
- Document dietary history, goals, and nutrition plans in the EMR.
- Collaborate with health center providers and the Population Health and Wellness Team.
