Job summary

Marathon Health in Colorado is seeking a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) to individuals and groups within the primary care setting. You will work with health center providers, staff, and the Population Health and Wellness Team to improve health outcomes in alignment with client agreements.

You will lead nutrition education, workshops, and counseling, emphasizing weight management, diabetes care, cardiovascular health, and chronic disease prevention

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in dietetics or related field and ACEND-approved coursework.
• Active RD licensure and CDR registration.
• 2+ years of clinical dietitian experience in healthcare settings.

Responsibilities

• Identify dietary improvements using medical nutrition therapy principles.
• Assess readiness to change and set health-related goals with patients.
• Provide nutrition guidance based on guidelines and patient needs.
• Lead nutrition workshops, cooking demos, and group sessions.
• Document dietary histories and goals in the EMR with confidentiality.
• Coordinate scheduling and internal referrals as needed.
