Job summary

Newberry County Memorial Hospital is seeking a full-time Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with prostate sonography experience. The role performs ultrasound imaging and procedures, verifies orders before imaging, ensures accurate documentation, and monitors procedures for timely physician interpretation.

Candidates must hold an SC QRSA license and be RDMS registered; vascular and echo experience are preferred and a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Qualifications

• SCQRSA license required.
• Must be RDMS registered.
• Prostate sonography experience required.
• Vascular Experience (RVT) preferred.
• Echo (RDCS/CCI) preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound imaging and procedures.
• Checks orders/requisitions prior to performing studies.
• Provides accurate computer documentation of studies.
• Monitors procedures for timely physician interpretation.
