Job summary

Newberry County Memorial Hospital is seeking aRegistered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, PRN, to perform ultrasound imaging and procedures. The role requires checking orders prior to imaging, documenting accurately, and monitoring procedures for timely physician interpretation.

SCQRSA license and RDMS registration are required; BLS is also mandatory, with vascular and echo specialty options preferred. This is a full-time/staff PRN position at Newberry County in South Carolina.

Qualifications

• SCQRSA license required.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) registration required.
• Vascular experience RVT / CCI (RVS) preferred.
• Echo (RDCS/CCI(ACS)) preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Performs Ultrasound imaging and procedures.
• Checks orders/requisitions prior to performing the imaging study/procedure; provides accurate computer documentation.
• Monitors procedures for timely interpretation by physicians.

Requirements

• South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCQRSA) license required
• Must be registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
• Vascular Experience (RVT)/ CCI (RVS) preferred
• Echo (RDCS/CCI (ACS) preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required
