Job summary

Lennox International in Sacramento, CA is seeking a material handler to perform shipping and receiving duties, verify records, and prepare items for shipment. You will inspect goods, route materials, and maintain accurate records to ensure inventory integrity.

The role requires a high school diploma, 3+ years of related experience, and forklift operation capability. Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Requires at least 3 years related experience.
• May require forklift certification.
• Thorough knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures including handling exceptions.
• Requires basic reading, writing and numerical ability.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Able to operate powered equipment such as forklift or hydraulic jack lift.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• May provide work leadership to lower level employees.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

What We Offer

Compensation:This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is between $24.11 – $31.20/hour. Factors that may affect starting pay include geography/market, and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible to earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).
