Job summary

Lennox International is seeking an entry-level Shipping & Receiving associate in Illinois. You will perform routine manual and clerical duties in the shipping area under close supervision, handling goods receipt, packing, and documentation as part of a collaborative team.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic reading/writing/numerical skills, and a valid driver's license if required. Starting pay is market-aligned with overtime eligibility.

What Drives Success

Under close supervision, performs routine manual and clerical duties to assist within shipping and receiving areas.

• Receives goods, verifies items against the record of shipment, and inspects condition.
• Gathers, verifies, and packs items for shipment according to specifications and the transportation method used.
• Records received and shipped items according to established procedures.
• Routes materials, supplies and equipment to inspection or stock areas.
• Completes written and computerized documentation.

What We Are Looking For

Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Must be able to follow established procedures. Requires basic reading, writing and numerical ability. Valid driver’s license with good driving record may be required. Effective verbal communication skills. Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

What We Offer

Compensation:This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is between $21.46 – $24.85/hour. Factors that may affect starting pay include geography/market, and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible to earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).
