Micron Technology, a world leader in memory and storage solutions, seeks an IDLE HVM Process Engineer to improve inline defect detection and troubleshoot processes. You will collaborate with overseas HVM sites, leverage data analysis to drive improvements, and support cross-functional teams to prevent excursions.

The role emphasizes learning defect detection tools, data science basics, and coordinating with global manufacturing to accelerate learning cycles and reduce inline defectivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering or related field.
• Exposure to basic data science and data manipulation is a plus.
• Strong English communication skills and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Review process flows for defect anomalies and quarantine out-of-control tools.
• Drive continuous improvement and optimize operations.
• Identify, raise awareness of process anomalies and root causes.
• Use inline signals to drive process improvements and detect problems early.
• Collaborate with global teams to maintain alignment across sites.
