Job summary

PDS Health is accepting applications for a Registered Dental Assistant at Hopkins Crossroads Dentistry in Minnetonka, MN. You will assist the dentist to ensure efficient, quality dental care while maintaining a calm, patient-focused environment.

Responsibilities include taking intra-oral images, assisting with procedures, and educating patients on oral health. Prior state certification/licensure is required where applicable, with compliance to OSHA and HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to high school diploma or GED with mandated state certification/licensure/registration.
• State-mandated certifications/licensure/registrations for dental assisting (e.g. coronal polish, radiograph exposure).
• Associate degree or certificate in dental assisting; or equivalent education/experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist to gain patient commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency.
• Participate in the Perfect Patient Experience by focusing on patient needs and concerns.
• Maintain a clean, sterile environment and prepare patients for treatment; support doctors during procedures.
• Take x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed by the dentist.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care.
