Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; state certification/licensure as mandated.
• Associate degree or one-year certificate from college or technical school preferred.
• Certifications/licenses/registrations as mandated by state (e.g. radiograph exposure) required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist to gain patient commitment for the best treatment with urgency.
• Participate in Perfect Patient Experience and address patient needs.
• Maintain clean, sterile environment and prepare patients for treatment; assist doctors.
• Take radiographs and intra-oral pictures as directed by the dentist.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and oral health care as directed.
• Sterilize/disinfect instruments per ADA/OSHA guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal regulations and HR policies.
