Job summary

Northern Valley Indian Health in Willows, California is seeking an experienced RDA Manager to lead the Dental Department's clinical support functions. You will supervise Lead RDAs and downline staff, ensure adequate staffing, standardize procedures, and drive high-quality patient care across multiple sites with travel between locations.

Qualifications

• Current California Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in good standing.
• Bachelor's degree in healthcare or business administration preferred.
• Five (5) years of clinical dental assisting experience.
• Five (5) years of supervisory, lead, or leadership experience.
• Working knowledge of infection control, dental regulations, radiation safety, and HIPAA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Providing leadership and support to Lead RDAs and downline staff, including evaluations, coaching, onboarding, and competency development.
• Support recruiting efforts for dental support positions and outreach to education institutions.
• Coordinate and ensure adequate Dental Department clinical support staffing across the Agency.
• Support implementation of new clinical workflows and standardization across sites.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, infection control, and verification logs.
• Perform duties of dental clinical support staff as needed to ensure continuity of back-office functions.
• Assist with budget discussions and fiscal responsibilities as directed.
• Collaborate with other units for scheduling and coverage processes.
• Other duties as assigned.
