Job summary

PDS Health seeks a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to support dentists in delivering high-quality dental care. You will help prepare patients, take X-rays, and educate patients on oral health while maintaining a clean, compliant environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with mandated state training for certification/licensure/registration
• State-mandated certifications/licenses/registrations required
• Associate degree or 1-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school; or equivalent education/experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist to gain patient commitment for best possible treatment with urgency
• Participate in Perfect Patient Experience by focusing patients on optimal treatment
• Maintain clean, sterile environment and prepare patients for treatment
• Perform x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed by the dentist
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care
• Sterilize/disinfect instruments and operatories per ADA guidelines
• Ensure compliance with state, federal regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, ADA, etc.)
