West Coast Dental is hiring a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) for full-time, with flexible scheduling across Monday–Saturday as needed. You will support dentists in general and specialty procedures, manage X-ray imaging, and maintain precise patient records, contributing to a high-quality patient experience.

Qualifications

• Active California Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license.
• Current CA X-ray certification.
• Coronal polish and sealant certification.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Knowledge of sterilization procedures and OSHA compliance.
• Specialty experience (Orthodontics, Periodontics, Oral Surgery, Pediatrics) is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to OSHA standards.
• Assist dentists during general and specialty procedures (including ortho, oral surgery, etc.).
• Take, develop, and process dental X-rays.
• Maintain accurate patient records, charting, and documentation.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
• Manage operatory flow and support efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with front and back-office teams to deliver exceptional patient care.
• Be a key part of creating a positive patient experience from start to finish.
• Take initiative to learn new skills and assist across multiple specialties.
• Participate in mentoring programs to grow your clinical expertise and advance your career.
