Job summary

West Coast Dental in Riverside, CA is hiring a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) for full-time, with flexible scheduling as needed. You’ll support dentists during general and specialty procedures, prepare rooms, take X-rays, and keep accurate patient records.

Qualifications

• Active CA RDA license is required.
• Current X-ray certification (CA) is required.
• Coronal polish and sealant certification desired.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Knowledge of sterilization procedures and OSHA compliance.
• Specialty experience (Orthodontics, Periodontics, Oral Surgery, Pediatrics) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments per OSHA standards.
• Assist dentists during general and specialty procedures including ortho and oral surgery.
• Take, develop, and process dental X-rays.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Ensure infection control and safety protocols are followed.
• Manage operatory flow and support efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with front and back-office teams to deliver exceptional patient care.
• Contribute to a positive patient experience from start to finish.
• Learn new skills and assist across multiple specialties.
