Job summary

West Coast Dental in California is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) for a full-time position with flexible scheduling. You will support general and specialty procedures, manage patient records, and help create a positive patient experience across multiple offices.

The role offers growth opportunities, mentorship, and ongoing CE; upcoming onboarding ensures you are integrated into a supportive, team‑oriented practice.

Qualifications

• Active California RDA license and CA X-ray certification required.
• Coronal polish and sealant certifications are preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification is required or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments per OSHA standards.
• Assist dentists during general and specialty procedures (ortho, oral surgery).
• Take, develop, and process dental X-rays.
• Maintain accurate patient records and charting.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post‑treatment care.
• Ensure infection control and safety protocols are followed.
• Manage operatory flow and support efficiency in a fast-paced setting.
• Collaborate with front and back‑office teams to deliver care.
• Be a key part of creating a positive patient experience from start to finish.
• Learn new skills and assist across multiple specialties.
• Participate in mentoring programs to grow clinical expertise.
