Job summary

West Olympia Dental Group is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to support dentists in delivering high-quality care. You will assist with procedures, take x-rays and intra-oral photos, educate patients, and maintain a clean, compliant clinical environment.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required; state certification/licensing as applicable
• Certifications/licenses/registrations as mandated by applicable state (e.g. coronal polish, radiograph exposure, ultrasonic scaling)
• Associate degree or 1-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school; or equivalent education/experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist to gain patient commitment for best treatment with urgency
• Participate in Perfect Patient Experience, focusing on patient needs
• Maintain clean, sterile environment and prepare patients for treatment
• Take and process x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments per ADA guidelines; comply with regulations
