Job summary

Silverdale Smiles Dentistry in Silverdale, WA is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to support the dentist, manage patient care, and help maintain a clean, efficient practice. You will assist with procedures, educate patients, and help ensure a positive experience for every patient.

The role requires taking x-rays, chair-side assistance, and enforcing infection control standards while complying with OSHA, HIPAA, and applicable regulations. This is a full-time position with benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• State-mandated certifications/licensures to practice
• Associate degree or 1-year certificate preferred or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist to obtain best possible treatment with urgency
• Participate in patient experience and address individual needs
• Maintain sterile, cheerful environment and prepare patients for treatment
• Take x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments per ADA guidelines
• Comply with state, federal, and other regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, etc)

Education
