Job summary

Dentists of Vista is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to assist dentists in delivering the best possible care with urgency. You will support chairside, take x-rays as directed, and educate patients using intra-oral images, while maintaining safety and compliance.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, relevant state certifications, and an associate degree or certificate preferred. We offer medical/dental/vision, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, 401K, weekend shift

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with state mandated training requirements.
• State certifications/licenses/registrations as mandated by the state for licensure or registration.
• Associate degree or a 1-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist to gain patient commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency.
• Participate in the Perfect Patient Experience by focusing on optimal treatment and patient needs.
• Maintain a clean, sterile environment and prepare patients for treatment; assist doctors.
• Take X-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed by the dentist.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care as directed.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and operatories per ADA guidelines.
• Comply with State, Federal, and other regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, etc.).

Education
