Job summary

PDS Health is seeking a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to support dentists in delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced practice. You will assist with x-rays, chair-side procedures, and infection control while focusing on patient comfort.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, applicable state certifications, and the ability to work as part of a team. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities to contribute to patient education.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required and state training as mandated by state for certification/registration
• Certifications/licenses/registrations as mandated by applicable state (e.g. radiograph exposure, coronal polish)
• Associate degree or one-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist to gain patient commitment for best possible treatment with urgency
• Participate in Perfect Patient Experience by keeping patients focused on optimal treatment and addressing concerns
• Maintain clean, sterile environment; prepare patients for treatment and assist doctors
• Take x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed by dentist
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and operatories per ADA guidelines
• Ensure compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations (OSHA, HIPAA, ADA, etc.)
