Job summary

Federal Way Modern Dentistry is looking for a Registered Dental Assistant to support dentists in delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced setting. You will perform chair-side assistance, take radiographs and intra-oral photos, and educate patients on oral health as directed by the dentist.

Maintain sterile environments and adhere to safety and HIPAA guidelines. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and relevant state certifications; an associate degree or certificate is

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• State-required certifications, licensure, or registrations as applicable.
• Associate degree or a certificate from an accredited program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist to gain the patient’s commitment for the best possible treatment.
• Take x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed by the dentist.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatories per guidelines.
