Job summary

Cedar Park Modern Dentistry is hiring a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) in Cedar Park, TX. You will assist the dentist to gain patient commitment, participate in the Perfect Patient Experience, and maintain a clean, sterile office while supporting efficient dental care.

The role includes taking X-rays/intra-oral pictures, instructing patients on post-care, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. A high school diploma/GED and state certifications are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with state-mandated training for licensure.
• State certifications/licenses/registrations (e.g., coronal polish, radiograph exposure, ultrasonic scaling, sealant application).
• Associate degree or one-year certificate from college/technical school; or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist to gain the patient’s commitment for the best possible treatment with urgency.
• Actively participate in the Perfect Patient Experience by keeping patients focused on optimal treatment and addressing their needs.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment; prepare patients for treatment and assist doctors for efficient care.
• Take x-rays and intra-oral pictures as directed by the dentist.
• Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral health care.
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and operatories per ADA guidelines and regulations.
