Job summary

Rolls-Royce in Indianapolis, IN, is seeking a Radar Cross Section (RCS) Engineer to join our Research and Development team. You will design and optimize low observable technologies and EM signatures for advanced aircraft systems, collaborating with engineers from multiple disciplines.

As part of the Survivability Technologies team, you will progress from concept to testing, with mentoring, industry conferences, and specialized technical short courses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, EE or Physics with 2+ years of related experience
• US citizenship is required
• Security clearance eligibility required

Responsibilities

• Develop, analyze, and verify RCS models using CEM tools
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to meet RCS requirements
• Perform RF measurements and data analysis
• Prepare technical docs for internal and external stakeholders
• Full-time in-office role with ~10% travel
