RTX is seeking a senior RCS/EM engineer to design, analyze, and test radar cross sections for advanced defense systems. You will collaborate in integrated product teams to apply signature control techniques and assess system performance. Responsibilities include proposal development and presenting testing results to customers.

The role requires a STEM degree with 8+ years of related experience or an advanced degree with 5+ years, and active/transferable U.S. government security clearance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 8+ years of experience, or an advanced degree with 5+ years of experience
• Experience performing RCS measurement, testing, prediction or design
• Experience with high temperature RCS reduction techniques (preferred)
• Experience with infrared signature analysis and reduction techniques (preferred)
• Experience in Laser Cross Section reduction techniques (preferred)
• Experience using CEM codes such as SENTRi & XPATCH
• Advanced Degree in STEM fields

Responsibilities

• Radar Cross Section (RCS) design, analysis, and test
• Work in integrated product teams to incorporate signature control techniques into deliverables
• Proposal Writing and Basis of Estimate (BOE) development
• Present results of testing, analysis, and design efforts to internal and external customers
