Job summary

LifeStance Health Inc. is seeking a Billing Supervisor to lead the RCM staff, oversee daily operations, and drive performance metrics. This remote role can sit in any state where LifeStance is located, with a compensation range of $61,000–$73,000 annually and potential bonuses.

The role emphasizes training, quality evaluations, and HIPAA compliance. Ideal candidates have 4+ years in medical billing/RCM with supervisory experience, advanced knowledge of UB-04 and CPT/ICD-9, and strong MS Office

Qualifications

• 4+ years of medical billing/RCM experience with supervisory exposure.
• Advanced knowledge of UB-04, EOB, A/R, CPT, and ICD-9 codes.
• Experience with outpatient mental health payors and commercial payors (Medicare regulations and HIPAA).
• Proficient in MS Office; Excel and Word.
• Strong verbal and written communication; organizational skills.
• Legally authorized to be employed in the United States.

• Supervise and lead RCM staff daily.
• Complete monthly quality evaluations and monitor scheduling.
• Maintain workload balance, efficiency, and cost reduction.

• Attend meetings and document agendas and notes.
• Protect PHI and Patient Identifiable Data with discretion and confidentiality.

Directly responsible for the training and monitoring of staff as well as all aspects of RCM and Performance Management. Effectively maintain a work environment which promotes communication to stimulate the morale, engagement, and growth of team members. This position is a remote role with the ability to sit within any state where LifeStance is located.Compensation: $61,000 - 73,000 Annually with potential bonusResponsibilities:Responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day supervision and leadership of RCM staff, including but not limited to the Performance Management metrics of RCMComplete monthly quality evaluations. Monitor staff scheduling and adherence to time and attendance protocolResponsible for all aspects of RCM, including but not limited to maintaining workload balance, ensuring maximum efficiency, eliminating rework, and reducing costPromptly identify issues and develop action plans to mitigate or resolve and escalate as neededTrain, develop, motivate, and assist team members in reaching new levels of skills, knowledge, and attitudeEffectively maintain a work environment which stimulates and motivates the morale, engagement, and growth of team members. Identify performance deficiencies and opportunities and implement action plans as neededReview and respond timely to requests, including emails, messages, telephone calls, issues, escalations, account research and resolution as needed by staff, leadership, and centers.
