Job summary

LifeStance Health is recruiting a Revenue Integrity Coordinator to support the National RCM Strategy team in a fully remote role across the United States. You will review claims for reimbursement and ensure accurate payer submissions while maintaining patient demographics and insurance status.

Candidates need 1+ year in medical billing and 2+ years in Behavioral Health, with CPT modifiers knowledge and HIPAA privacy understanding.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• 1+ year of experience in medical billing.
• 2+ years in Behavioral Health/Mental Health space preferred.
• Experience with an EMR, preferably AdvancedMD.
• Understanding of EAP and Behavioral Health carve-out plans.
• Knowledge of CPT and modifiers and their effect on reimbursement.
• Familiarity with healthcare privacy regulations (HIPAA).

Responsibilities

• Review claims billed to payers for reimbursement.
• Maintain current information on billing practices.
• Submit corrected claims to payer(s) for reconsideration.
• Possibly perform posting review or resubmission of claims.
• Verify patient demographics and insurance status (COB).
• Review ERA data and analyze charges, allowable amounts, and payments.

Working in coordination with the Billing leadership team, utilize billing knowledge to ensure the timely and accurate processing of patient accounts. The ideal candidate will be someone who has a strong desire to work individually while meeting the needs of a national organization. An important key requirement is the self-accountability to drive success in a virtual team environment.
