Job summary

Amperos is seeking a detail-oriented medical billing specialist to join our fast-growing team. You will help customers submit claims accurately, post payments, and ensure denial management processes run smoothly.

Work with PM systems like eCW, ModMed, and Athenahealth, handle daily batching, reconciliations, and resolve unapplied cash and refunds. This is an early-stage opportunity with growth potential in a global billing function.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in medical billing, charge entry, or coding verification.
• Strong knowledge of medical coding and PM systems like eCW, ModMed, Athenahealth.

• Post payments, adjustments, and denials from ERAs, EOBs, and lockbox files.
• Balance daily batches and reconcile to bank deposits.
• Resolve unapplied cash, credit balances, refunds, and recoupments.

What you'll do:

• Post payments, adjustments, and denials from ERAs, EOBs, and lockbox files.
• Balance daily batches and reconcile to bank deposits.
• Resolve unapplied cash, credit balances, refunds, and recoupments.

What we're looking for:

• At least 2 years of experience in medical billing, charge entry, or coding verification.

• Ability to work US hours (9am–6pm ET) and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
