Job summary

Amperos is seeking a detail-oriented Payment Posting Specialist with 2+ years of experience in RCM to join our team. You will enter charges, verify claim accuracy, and manage submissions to insurers while our AI-driven platform supports accuracy and speed.

You will balance daily batches, reconcile to deposits, flag underpayments, and track claims through posting and adjudication. This role offers ownership and growth within a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in medical billing, charge entry, or coding verification.
• Strong working knowledge of medical coding.
• Experience with leading PM systems, including eCW, ModMed, Athenahealth, and more.
• Solid understanding of insurance claim submission requirements and pre-authorization processes.
• Ability to identify coding errors and clinical editing issues before claim submission.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and reliable in documentation and follow-through.
• Ability to work US hours (9am–6pm ET) to collaborate with our team and customers.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where processes and priorities can change.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a detail-oriented Payment Posting Specialist with 2+ years of experience in RCM to join our team. You'll work at the intersection of traditional claim submission or payment posting workflows and cutting-edge AI, helping our customers submit claims accurately and efficiently while ensuring our automation systems perform at the highest standard.

You’ll be responsible for entering charges, verifying claim accuracy, managing charge submissions to insurance companies, and tracking claims through posting and adjudication. As our product and customer base evolve, your responsibilities may shift to align with near-term priorities—this is a role with meaningful ownership and room to grow.

What you'll do

Payment Posting:
