Job summary

Assembly Health is seeking a Revenue Cycle Account Manager to join our Physician RCM division. You will serve as the main client contact, manage relationships with healthcare providers, and lead initiatives to optimize revenue cycle performance.

You will monitor KPIs, collaborate with billing and coding teams, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and payer policies. A Bachelor's in a related field and 5+ years of RCM experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in revenue cycle management, medical billing, or healthcare account management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with RCM software and payer portals; strong knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding and reimbursement processes.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• 3+ years supervising staff and overseeing workflow functions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients and address inquiries proactively.
• Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers and stakeholders.
• Conduct regular client meetings to review RCM performance and align on financial goals.
• Provide ongoing education to clients on RCM processes and regulatory changes.
• Monitor KPIs like DSO, denial rates, AR aging, and net collections.
• Collaborate with billing, coding, and collections teams to ensure timely claims submission and follow-ups.
• Develop and execute action plans to improve financial outcomes for clients.
• Ensure HIPAA/compliance and provide detailed reporting on revenue cycle health.
• Identify automation and technology enhancements to streamline operations.
