Job summary

Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking a qualified Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist to join the cath lab team. The role supports physicians in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures and helps optimize patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Required RCIS certification, High School diploma, and BLS/ACLS within specified timelines; 1 year of invasive cardio experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equivalent (required)
• RCIS certification
• BLS required within 90 days
• ACLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire
• 1 year minimum invasive cardio experience

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in the cath lab.
• Operate cardiovascular invasive equipment and monitor patient status during procedures.
• Administer medications under physician direction and ensure compliance with policies and HIPAA.
• Participate in on-call rotation and contribute to quality assurance and process improvement in the cath lab.
