Job summary

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA is hiring a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist to join the cath lab team. The role provides care in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, with on-call duties and rapid response to STEMI activations.

Requires RCIS, BLS within 90 days, ACLS within 90 days, and 1 year invasive cardiovascular experience. Eligible candidates will join a multidisciplinary team, ensure patient safety, and support ongoing quality initiatives

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equivalent (required)
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
• BLS must be obtained within 90 days
• ACLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire
• 1 year minimum related invasive cardiovascular experience

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in the cath lab
• Administer medications under physician direction and ensure policy compliance
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergency STEMI activations
• Contribute to quality assurance and process improvement in the cath lab
