Job summary

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist to join our cath lab team. You will assist physicians in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures and help maintain procedure efficiency and patient safety.

Required RCIS certification with BLS, ACLS within 90 days, and at least 1 year of related experience; High School diploma; on-call rotation and HIPAA compliance are part of the role. We offer competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Education includes a high school diploma or equivalent.
• RCIS certification required; BLS within 90 days; ACLS within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum 1 year of related invasive cardiovascular experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.
• Operate within cath lab to optimize patient outcomes and efficiency.
• Administer medications under physician direction and ensure HIPAA compliance.
