Job summary

Redwood Family Care Network is seeking a Direct Support Professional for the NOC shift in Santa Rosa, CA. This full‑time role supports adults with developmental disabilities, promoting health and safety in daily living.

You will help with routines, meals, personal care, and transportation when required. The position requires DSP certification within 12 months, RBT within the first year, and a CA driver’s license. Eligible benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Must obtain the Direct Support Professional Certificate – Year 1 & 2 within 12 months of hire.
• Must obtain RBT within the first year of employment.
• First Aid/CPR & CPI preferred or willing to obtain.
• Must be at least 21 years old and hold a California driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with developmental disabilities by promoting health, safety and well‑being.
• Advocate to improve quality of life for adults 60+ requiring assisted living.
• Outline and prepare daily routines for clients per Individual Program Plan.
• Assist clients with bathroom needs and change clothing if needed.
• Prepare daily meals and assist with clean‑up.
• Pickup/drop‑off clients in company vans as needed.

Job Title: Direct Support Professional

Hourly Rate: $20.00- $22.00/hr. Depending on Certifications and Role

Shifts Needed: NOC (Saturday - Wednesday 10:00PM - 6:00AM)

Job Status: Full Time

Here's What You'll Do:

The Direct Support Professional supports individuals with developmental disabilities by promoting their health, safety and well-being. Our Direct Support Professionals proudly serve as an advocate to improve the overall quality of life for our clients ensuring high-quality services and supports for adults ages 60+ requiring assisted living.

Essential Functions:

• Outline and prepare daily routine(s) for clients' (visual and active) as written in Individual Program Plan.
• Assist clients with bathroom needs.
• Change clients' undergarments and/or clothing if needed.
• Prepare daily meals and assist with clean-up.
• Pick-up/drop-off clients in company vans from/to their home/facility (if necessary).

Education and Experience:

• Direct Support Professional Certificate – DSP Year 1 & Year 2 (Must obtain within first 12 months of Hire)
• Obtain your RBT within the 1st Year of Employment
• First Aid/CPR & CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention (Preferred or willing to obtain)
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a California Driver's License
• Candidate must successfully pass all pre-employment requirements, including but not limited to a background check.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 30lbs.
• Able to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
