Job summary

Redwood Family Care Network in Santa Rosa, CA is seeking a Direct Support Professional for NOC shifts. You will support adults with developmental disabilities, promote health and safety, and advocate to improve quality of life in a supervised setting.

Required DSP certificate (Year 1 & Year 2) within 12 months, RBT within year, First Aid/CPR & CPI preferred, 21+, California driver’s license, and successful background check. We offer comprehensive benefits and supportive teamwork.

Qualifications

• Direct Support Professional Certificate – DSP Year 1 & Year 2 (Must obtain within first 12 months of Hire)
• Obtain your RBT within the 1st Year of Employment
• First Aid/CPR & CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention (Preferred or willing to obtain)
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a California Driver’s License
• Candidate must successfully pass all pre-employment requirements, including but not limited to a background check.

Responsibilities

• Outline and prepare daily routine(s) for clients' (visual and active) as written in Individual Program Plan.
• Assist clients with bathroom needs.
• Change clients' undergarments and/or clothing if needed.
• Prepare daily meals and assist with clean-up.
• Pick-up/drop-off clients in company vans from/to their home/facility (if necessary).

Here’s What You'll Do:

The Direct Support Professionalsupports individuals with developmental disabilities by promoting their health, safety and well-being. Our Direct Support Professionals proudly serve as an advocate to improve the overall quality of life for our clients ensuring high-quality services and supports for adults ages 60+ requiring assisted living.
