Job summary

Redwood Family Care Network is seeking a Direct Support Professional in Vacaville, CA to promote health, safety and well-being for individuals with developmental disabilities. This full-time role involves advocacy to improve quality of life and daily support in home and community settings.

Responsibilities include coordinating routines, assisting with daily activities, meals, and transportation as needed; requires a DSP certificate and a valid California driver’s license, with background checks

Qualifications

• Direct Support Professional Certificate must be obtained within first 12 months of Hire.
• First Aid/CPR & CPI preferred or willing to obtain.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• California Driver's License required.
• Candidate must successfully pass all pre-employment requirements, including background check.

• Outline and prepare daily routine(s) for clients' (visual and active) as written in Individual Program Plan.
• Assist clients with bathroom needs.
• Change clients' undergarments and/or clothing if needed.
• Prepare daily meals and assist with clean-up.
• Pick-up/drop-off clients in company vans from/to their home/facility (if necessary).

Hourly Rate: $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
Shifts Needed:AM and PM

Here's What You'll Do:

TheDirect Support Professionalsupports individuals with developmental disabilities by promoting their health, safety and well-being. Our Direct Support Professionals proudly serve as an advocate to improve the overall quality of life for our clients.

Essential Functions:
