Job summary

SQA Services in Everett, WA is seeking a senior quality engineer with aerospace supplier quality experience to assess root-cause analyses, drive corrective actions, and manage RCCA processes. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 5 years in quality engineering or supplier quality in aerospace/defense.
• Hands-on root-cause and corrective-action experience (8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa).
• Knowledge of AS9100 and closing formal corrective actions for OEMs.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple actions.
• Strong technical writing and audit-ready deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Assess root-cause analyses and containment strategies for adequacy.
• Prioritize corrective actions by impact, Boeing due dates, and risk; maintain RCCA register.
• Lead failure-mechanism analysis using RCCA methodology; identify causes and controls.
• Develop sustainable corrective action plans with clear controls.
• Communicate with client and SQA leadership; dashboards and reports.
• Prepare and support 8D responses and manage rejections/resubmittals.
• Capture analyses in RCCA tool and export deliverables (Boeing 8D, STEPQ, Word, Excel, PDF).
• Collaborate with client Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, Planning, Document Control.
