Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health seeks a Registered Behavior Technician to support youth in a residential STAIRS program in Homestead, PA. The role provides 1:1 behavioral services within a multidisciplinary team, delivering individualized interventions as part of a comprehensive treatment plan.

The position requires an RBT certification, strong communication and data skills, and flexibility for a schedule that may include weekends.

Qualifications

• RBT certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with children/adolescents with autism or behavior challenges preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication, organizational, and technology skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Clinical Programming and Behavioral Support: Implement individualized positive behavior support plans and collect data.
• Skill Acquisition Interventions: Aid residents with communication, social, daily living, and play skills.
• Behavior Reduction and Management: Implement strategies to prevent and de‑escalate challenging behaviors and crisis situations.
• Treatment Team Collaboration: Work with BCBAs, school staff, and multidisciplinary team to monitor progress and ensure fidelity to interventions.
• Maintain and Structure a Therapeutic Environment: Create a structured, goal‑oriented milieu supporting treatment outcomes.
• Ensure Compliance with Regulatory Standards: Apply internal policies and external regulations (BACB, CARF, licensing)
