Job summary

Devereux Educational Strategies and Solutions (DESS) seeks a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a school-based position in Aston, PA. You will work in an emotional support classroom under a BCBA to implement evidence-based behavioral strategies and collect data.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, competitive pay, and strong clinical support, with opportunities for RBT credentialing and ongoing supervision. Benefits start after 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required;Bachelor’s degree preferred;RBT certification strongly preferred.
• One year of experience working with children or adolescents with behavioral challenges.
• Training and supervision will be provided for RBT credentials.
• Crisis intervention/CPI certification preferred; reliable transportation.
• Devereux maintains a zero-tolerance policy for abuse.

Responsibilities

• Support students with emotional, behavioral, and social needs throughout the school day.
• Implement behavior intervention plans and skill-building programs developed by a BCBA.
• Assist with classroom instruction and PBIS initiatives.
• Collect and maintain accurate behavioral and student progress data.
• Reinforce positive behaviors and teach replacement skills.
• Assist with FBAs and PBSPs.
• Collaborate with teachers, BCBAs, and other educational professionals to support student success.
• Maintain a safe, structured learning environment.
