Join Our Team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at Majestic Care ABA
Majestic Care ABA is a new organization in the area, eager to expand our team. We are seeking motivated and compassionate Registered Behavioral Technicians to join us.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Special Education, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Experience working directly with children in behavioral settings (preferred but not required).
- Completion of a 40-hour RBT training course.
- Possession of a valid Registered Behavior Technician Certificate (training provided if not currently certified).
- Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Basic computer skills with a willingness to improve.
- Willingness to accept assignments at various locations or clients.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Job Responsibilities
- Respect and dignity in client treatment.
- Engage clients appropriately during sessions.
- Serve as a role model for clients and caregivers.
- Maintain reliability and adhere to scheduled sessions; notify BCBA of any discrepancies or cancellations and attempt to reschedule.
- Communicate professionally with families and caregivers.
- Receive weekly supervision from a BCBA and provide feedback on client progress.
- Discuss progress, program development, and data analysis with supervisors regularly.
- Take daily notes during the last 15 minutes of each session using Rethink.
- Obtain parent signatures for in-home therapy session notes.
- Use company-provided devices for data collection and notes, avoiding personal devices.
- Maintain a reinforcement checklist and inform the BCBA of additional needs.
- Keep toys and materials clean and organized.
Additional Responsibilities
- Chart and collect ABA and skill data to monitor child progress.
- Implement ABA techniques such as reinforcement, shaping, chaining, task analysis, prompting, and fading.
- Follow programming objectives and treatment plans, including Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) when applicable.
