Job summary

Hope Autism Clinic in Huntsville, AL seeks a Behavior Technician/Registered Behavior Technician (BT/RBT) to work with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder using ABA principles. You will communicate progress with families, track data, and assist the team in implementing individualized goals.

The role requires 18+ with the BACB RBT credential preferred; full-time, on-site, with comprehensive benefits including health, vision, and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Successful background clearance.
• Associate/Bachelor degree preferred.
• RBT credential from BACB is preferred.

Responsibilities

What You Will Do:

• Work directly with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder at the Hope Autism Clinic to teach children with ASD using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
• Effectively communicate with families/guardians about their child’s progress.
• Work with the treatment team to track session data and help clients achieve individualized communication and early learning goals.
• Assist with planning and preparing for clinic-based group activities.
• Model professional appearance and attitudes.

What You Will Bring:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent education.
• Successful background clearance.

What We Prefer:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a psychology, education, or human services related field.
• Experience working with people with developmental disabilities.
• Enthusiasm for working with children.
• Has obtained Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
