Job summary

Achieving True Self in the United States is hiring a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). The role offers paid training, a clear path to becoming a certified RBT, and weekly opportunities to impact children with autism in community settings.

You’ll work one-on-one with children, implement treatment plans, collect progress data, and collaborate with a clinical team to ensure compassionate, evidence-based care. A vehicle and driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 18+ years old.
• Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities.
• Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and own vehicle.
• Evening/after-school availability preferred.
• General knowledge of Windows and Google products.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to children with autism and related needs using evidence-based strategies.
• Implement individualized treatment plans designed by a supervising clinician.
• Teach communication, social, daily living, and behavioral skills in home, school, or community settings.
• Collect data on client progress and adjust support strategies as needed.
• Build positive, supportive relationships with clients and their families.
• Collaborate with a clinical team to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
• Celebrate small wins that lead to meaningful, life-changing progress.
• Be a steward of ATS’s mission, vision, values, and beliefs.
