Job summary

Achieving True Self is seeking a Behavioral Technician (BT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support children with autism in one-on-one settings. Training is provided, and you’ll work under supervision to implement evidence-based treatment plans designed by a clinician.

You’ll help develop communication, social, daily living, and behavioral skills across home, school, or community settings, while collecting progress data and collaborating with a clinical team for high-quality care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (minimum) and 18+ years old.
• Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities (or related coursework).
• Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and your own reliable vehicle.
• Evening/after-school availability preferred (sessions typically 2–6 hours, Mon–Fri).
• General knowledge of computer systems, including Windows and Google products.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to children with autism and related developmental needs using evidence-based strategies.
• Implement individualized treatment plans designed by a supervising clinician.
• Teach communication, social, daily living, and behavioral skills in home, school, or community settings.
• Collect data on client progress and adjust support strategies as needed.
• Build positive, supportive relationships with clients and their families.
• Collaborate with a clinical team to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
• Celebrate small wins that lead to meaningful, life-changing progress.
• Be a steward of ATS’s mission, vision, values, and beliefs.
