Job summary

Achieving True Self is hiring a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support children with autism. No college degree is required, and paid training including RBT certification is provided within the first month.

You will work with a supervising clinician to implement individualized treatment plans, teach essential skills, and collect progress data across home, school, or community settings, building strong family partnerships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (minimum) and 18+ years old.
• Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities (or related coursework).
• Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and your own reliable vehicle is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to children with autism and related developmental needs using evidence-based strategies.
• Implement individualized treatment plans designed by a supervising clinician.
• Teach communication, social, daily living, and behavioral skills in home, school, or community settings.
• Collect data on client progress and adjust support strategies as needed.
• Build positive, supportive relationships with clients and their families.
• Collaborate with a clinical team to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
