Caravel Autism Health, LLC in Dubuque, IA is seeking an energetic Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work 1-on-1 with children under 6, using play-based ABA to build communication, independence, social, and daily living skills.

You'll collaborate with BCBA mentors, document progress, and support families. The role values reliability, compassion, and ongoing professional development, with a Monday–Friday schedule and occasional Saturday sessions.

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification in good standing.
• Passion for helping children with autism learn and grow.
• Reliability, professionalism, and strong follow through.
• Resilience and compassion, especially on the tough days.
• Physical readiness for the role: pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 35 pounds; sitting on the floor, stooping, standing, walking, and moving quickly alongside kids when needed

Responsibilities

• Use play-based ABA therapy to help children build communication, independence, social, and daily living skills.
• Create meaningful learning opportunities through play and connection.
• Partner closely with BCBAs who provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and support.
• Celebrate, document, and contribute to meaningful progress for every child.
• Build strong relationships with children, families, and teammates.
• Continue developing your clinical skills through ongoing training and feedback
